Titles, etc.
Sifu (Shirfu): A respectful term to address someone of high skill or experience in a profession or "hand arts" (martial arts, painting, sculpting, etc). Nowadays, it is used to denote the chief instructor or owner of a martial arts school.
Laoshi: A general term for "teacher", in any skill.
Liao Jian: Coach
Shi Xiong: Senior classmate (male)
Shi Jie: Senior classmate (female)
Shi Di: Junior classmate (male)
Shi Mei: Junior classmate (female)
Shi Buo: Your teacher's senior classmate
Shi Shu: Your teacher's junior classmate
Guan ("Gwoon") School, place of learning martial arts

Quan: Fist
Zhang: Palm
Fan You: Body Turn
Wu lun pan da / lun bi: Wheel Arms Slap Ground (arm Circles)
Za quan: Hammerfist (back Of Fist)
Pi quan: Hammerfist (underside Of Fist)
Gou (Gou shou): Hook Hand
Chuan zhang: Push Palms
Chong Chuan: Front Punch (not to be confused with "Chang Chuan" (long fist)

Dan pai jiao: Front Slapping Leg Raise
Li he tui: Inside Crescent
Wai bai tui: Outside Crescent
Ji bu: Skip Step
Zheng ti tui: Leg Raise / Front Stretch Kick
