"BreatheTao" Program
In a fast paced world, we all can benefit from a calm space and inner rejuvenation..........

What is the "BreatheTao" program?
The "BreatheTao" program has two special curriculums:
1) "Tai Chi on the go" For busy professional groups and on-the-go parents with a desire to gain the benefits of Tai Chi, but don't have alot of time to spare in learning long routines or committing to a formal class, this program is for you. We know that our workdays can sometimes be stressful, and "Tai Chi on the go" is designed to bring a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle, and to promote a sense of motivation, rejuvenation and renewed productivity.
Tai Chi Instructor Restita DeJesus, developed this program for seminars and workshop series, and is now offering this program to the public. She would come to your workplace or meeting place during a time that is convenient for your group so that you won't have to worry about driving out to the studio.
In this modified curriculum of Tai Chi, participants will practice "short" routines of Tai Chi and Qigong, that are easy to learn and short enough to do without a lot of room. These short routines may be done in one's own living room (without having to move the furniture), a hotel room, or any other limited space. These routines include: Centerpoint 5 postures Qigong, Tai Chi 10 form, Tai Chi short baton exercises, 4-corners Tai Chi walking exercises, and others.
Classes may be scheduled at your workplace by contacting Ms. DeJesus. Please note, there would need to be a minimum of 4 people enrolled for workplace sessions.
Ask your workplace administration if they'd agree that Tai Chi would be a good addition to your work day! We currently offer morning sessions (8:00 to 9:00 am or 9:00 to 10:00 am) on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays, and lunchtime sessions (11:00 am to 12:00 pm or 12:00 to 1:00 pm)
2) "Golden Years Tai Chi" This program is specifically designed for Seniors, especially those with limited mobility. Ms. DeJesus had modified the movements of Tai Chi so that they can be performed from a seated position. All exercises are designed to promote range of movement, deep breathing, relaxation, and the feeling of well being. Each session is filled with smiles and laughter, and is a fun way to get exercise without strain. Classes may be scheduled at your Senior Center (contact your senior center's administration to see if they'd agree that "Golden Years Tai Chi" would be beneficial). Ms. DeJesus is available for at-home lessons for home-bound seniors, by appointment only.
